Infected By Art Book - Volume 4

CAROL HEYER is a resident of Thousand Oaks California and a full time illustrator and writer. Before beginning her freelance career Heyer worked for a movie production company as production designer and writer of feature films.  “THUNDER RUN,” a script that she co-wrote with Charles Davis was produced by Lynn/Wenger Productions and released by Cannon Films.   Another script written for Lynn/Wenger was released directly to the video market.

Heyer has written/illustrated twenty-eight children’s picture books.  Her most recent book is for Ideals Children’s Books, “THE LITTLE SHEPHERD’S CHRISTMAS”.   To date well over two million of Heyer's picture books have been sold. 

Heyer's art has appeared on everything from book covers to bookmarks.  She has done work for, DISNEY, READER’S DIGEST, WIZARDS OF THE COAST, RAY BRADBURY, SCHOLASTIC, PENGUIN PUTNAM/Henry Winkler, and many others. 

Heyer graduated from CALIFORNIA LUTHERAN UNIVERSITY.  She has won awards from Spectrum, The International Competition for Fantastic Art, Print’s Regional Design Annual, The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and The Society of Illustrators LA.
