Description
The Cretan Bull, 7th labour of Hercules - october 2018 Ink and Gold leaf 22 x 22 cm Hercules was an important heroic figure in Greco-Roman classical culture. Capturing the Cretan Bull was the 7th labour Hercules was given when in service to the king Eurystheus. The piece is one of a series, with the outer circle reminding of the 12 feats Hercules performed.
