Among his clients can be ranked leading Italian and international publishers in the fantastic field: Mondadori, the Rizzoli and Espresso Groups, Fanucci, and overseas The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Asimov' s SF, Analog Science & Fact, Macmillan, PYR, Putnam/Berkley, ImagineFX, Prime Books and Subterranean Press. During his career he has received the Europe Award, the Premio Italia (twice) and the Chesley Award conferred by ASFA, The Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists. He was the recipient of the ASIMOV' SF Readers' Award as Best Cover Artist in 2014, 2015, 2019 and 2022. His digital paintings have been periodically chosen for annuals, including Infected by Art and Spectrum, The Best in Contemporary Fantastic Art. Awarded as a European Grand Master by the European Science Fiction Society, he has been nominated in 2021 and 2022 for the Hugo Award as Best Professional Artist.
