Infected by Art 7 Timeline and Jury Announcement

The start of Infected by Art's 7th Annual Competition is just around the corner and today we're ready to announce the submission timeline as well as this year's jury.
IBA 7 Timeline:
Submission Period: September 3, 2018 through midnight EST December 7, 2018
Jury Voting: December 12, 2018 through January 17, 2019
We're looking for the very best in contemporary imaginative realism, with artworks being judged from four main categories - Traditional Painting, Digital Painting, Drawing and Sculpture. We offer cash prizes, as well as publication in our upcoming Compilation art book - Infected by Art Volume 7. The best images voted on by our esteemed jury will be selected for the book. While our jury deliberates on the artworks after the submission period ends, all submissions will be available for viewing by our site visitors to enjoy. The competition is open to all artists, and submissions should be created within the last 2 years. Entry fees will remain the same as previous years - $10 per entry with a maximum of 10 entries, and the 5th and 10th entry is free.
IBA 7 Jury Panel:
Our Jury Panel is comprised of individuals who are personally entrenched in the creation or promotion of imaginative realism artworks; Thomas Kuebler, Yoann Lossel, Dave Seeley, and Cynthia Sheppard.

Thomas Kuebler - After years of working in the corporate art world of toy design prototypes and bringing robots to life in the animatronics field, Thomas “Tom” Kuebler opted to explore his full creative potential as a multi-media sculptor. MORE |

Yoann Lossel - Born in Strasbourg, France, in 1985, Yoann Lossel’s interest in art and painting began with the discovery of the Old Master paintings of the Renaissance, which he found at home and contemplated during his childhood. MORE |

Dave Seeley - Dave Seeley claims to be a victim of modern mass media and the one-second-MTV-vid-shot, hence the moniker “Image Junkie”. He is far more influenced by contemporary sci-fi film noir than by the legacy of science fiction illustration. MORE |

Cynthia Sheppard - Cynthia Sheppard is an award-winning illustrator. She's been creating art for fantasy genre books and games since the mid-200s, and now devotes her time to creating personal artwork while working as a Sr. Art Director for Magic: The Gathering. MORE |
They will select the images for publication in IBA 7, and pick the top artworks for Cash prizes.
IBA 6 has been safely delivered to the printer and is currently on the press being printed. Our experience with new publisher Jon Schinehette of ArtOrder LLC was nothing short of fantastic once again, and we cannot wait to show off Infected by Art Volume 6 at IX 11 this October.
