Description

This figure is part of my carnivalesque series. I wanted a figure that reigned over the gateway of life and death. This is symbolized in the dead rabbit he holds. He is impartial to death and is not a good or evil character and does not do the judging of the life, he is the overseer of the spirit’s passing to what lies beyond. This piece was on display at Last Rites Gallery in NYC, November 2014 as part of my gallery show "The Animal Within".
