The Art Order - Cover Art Challenge for F(r)iction #2

I have an intense love of the mysterious. From an early age my art sought to transcend realism to the realms of the imagination.  After service to my country in the US Marine Corps as an Infantryman, I enrolled in art school.  I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Laguna College of Art and Design and later earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Illustration from California State University at Long Beach. My medium of choice varies between Oil and Acrylic paint as well as digital. I have painted Illustrations for companies like Blizzard Entertainment, Arch Enemy Comics, Lucasfilm and Wizards of the Coast. I am currently an Art Professor at the Laguna College of Art and Design. My love of the mysterious, combined with my passion for the figure has led to a long term art affair with Imaginative Realism.
